Why I started this blog

Trauma has been my constant companion since birth - abuse, poverty, grief, depression - you name it. It seemed like my life was a breeding ground for pain, or that I was evil in my past life and was being punished for what I did.

When I left home for college, everything changed. Freedom became my compass, and I began following a life of mental wellbeing. I started reading, journaling, moving my body, meditating, and working with a life coach - and the impact this had on me is one of miracles. Today I can confidently say that I am happy, healthy, and actively healing. I look at my past with love-filled lenses, and with forgiveness and appreciation for everything I overcame.

Each morning, I wake up with a sense of peace, fulfillment, and a quiet confidence about myself and my future. The learning, the growing, the healing – it’s a continuous process, and a beautiful work in progress. This lifestyle shift began just two short years ago, but the transformation it sparked in my life is nothing short of remarkable. I feel so blessed and excited to be on this Earth, and I make my gratitude known. That’s exactly why I’m launching this blog - to share the practices that have completely reshaped my existence.

Consider this a safe space, a haven you can visit for as long as you need, a place to return to whenever it feels supportive. This page will always be a constant source of encouragement, a reminder that you too can rise above the trauma.

“What is done in love, is done well.”
